Why Can't I Let Go of the Past?

Sometimes the past isn't behind us because we're still carrying the weight of it today.

We've all heard the saying,


"Time heals all wounds."


Sometimes it does.

Time may put some distance between us and what happened, but it doesn't automatically change how those experiences were stored within us.
