Muscle Testing
Muscle testing is a simple yet powerful technique that can help you connect with your higher self and/or subconscious mind. By using your body's innate wisdom, muscle testing can help you tap into the answers and guidance that are already within you. This technique involves asking yes or no questions while holding a muscle group, such as your arm, and then observing how your muscle responds.
A strong response indicates a positive answer, while a weak response indicates a negative answer.
Understanding Trigger & Response Emotions
⚡ Trigger Emotions (Primary Emotions):
These emotions are your initial emotional reactions to a thought or situation. I like to call them trigger emotions because they set everything else in motion.
They include emotions like:
-
Fear
-
Anger
-
Sadness
-
Happiness
-
Surprise
-
Disgust.
These emotions are natural and instinctive — we’re all born with them and everyone feels them, no matter their background.
When a trigger emotion arises, your body responds with physical changes. For example:
-
Fear might make your heart race.
-
Anger could cause tension in your body.
🔁 Response Emotions (Secondary Emotions)
These are emotions triggered by a primary emotion (or trigger emotion), but they don’t always show up immediately. In fact, a response emotion can arise days, months or even years later.
The original trigger emotion may have become trapped or inherited and over time, it can continue to influence how we feel and respond. For example, a deep sense of sadness or anxiety may stem from unresolved fear that was never fully processed.
These are the emotions that follow the original trigger emotion — kind of like emotional ripple effects.
For example, if your trigger emotion is sadness, you might later feel:
-
Hopeless
-
Unmotivated
-
Lonely
These response emotions can stack up over time, especially if the original trigger emotion was not properly processed or released.
🧠 Why Releasing Trapped Emotions Matters
When emotions are suppressed or unprocessed, they can become "trapped" in the body — meaning the energy of the emotion stays stuck instead of moving through and out.
This can affect your:
-
Mood and thoughts
-
Physical health (like headaches, tension, or fatigue)
-
Reactions to future events
By using techniques like Metaphysical Coding®, we can help your body release those trapped emotions, allowing energy to flow freely again. This brings:
-
Clarity
-
Lighter energy
-
Better wellbeing overall
🌀 The Emotional Cycle (in simple terms)
Here’s a basic flow of how emotions work in the body:
1. Trigger – Something happens or you have a thought.
2. Feel – You start to feel a primary (trigger) emotion.
3. React – Your body and mind react.4. **Process** – Your system tries to make sense of it and recover.
5. Resolve – If everything goes well, the emotion passes.
👉 But if an emotion doesn’t get processed properly, it can get stuck, and that’s what we aim to shift and transform during our sessions.

Note: * You balance energies like joy, surprise and healthy pride, instead of releasing them.
Check if you should strengthen or release low self-worth & low self-esteem.
Eg: State: “With love & intention I balance the energy of surprise.” Keep repeating until you muscle test a strong yes.
Releasing an emotional energy
Step One: “For my highest benefit, do I have a trapped emotion ready to be released?” (Here various questions can be asked. eg: ..... hindering me from ...? causing me to be ...? preventing me from ...? blocking me from ...? interfering with ...?
Yes -Muscle test or dowse to identify the emotion ready to be released.
1.Is it located in column A? Is it located in column B? Is it located in column C?
2. Is it in an odd row? Is it in an even row? Is it in row 2? Is it anger/disgust etc?
NOTE: At this point you may wish to 'rate' the severity of the emotion (0 to 10, with 10 being the most severe) plus identify the number of response emotions linked to your identified 'trigger' emotion.
Step Two: Check if you need more information.
If Yes:
1. Age/ When did it happen?
2. Does this energy belong to me? (Can be absorbed or inherited from someone else)
3. Find where in your body it is lodged.
Step Three: Ask “Is the emotion of (insert emotional energy) ready to be released?” If no, continue to ask further questions.
If yes, release the emotional energy you have identified:
State intention: “With ease & grace I release the energy of (insert emotional energy”
State each individual digit – 7 5 7 9 2 2 2, followed by “times a million”; you may need to repeat the code 3 to 7 times.
Check: “Have I successfully released the energy of xxxxx?” If ‘no’, repeat intention plus frequency until released
REPEAT process to identify and release the linked 'response' emotions.
Step Four: “Positive Emotions Tree”
Negative emotions can linger in our bodies and minds for months, years, or even decades. When these emotions are released, they can leave an energetic
void or space. After releasing your negative emotions, I highly recommend a short visualisation exercise.
Imagine visiting a special place, such as an Angel Garden, God's Garden or a Healing Garden, where you find a beautiful tree covered in berries of various colours. Each berry represents a different positive emotion like love, joy or grace.
As you eat the berries from the ‘Positive Emotions Tree’, imagine the delightful taste of each berry and feel the positive energy on your tongue as you chew. Then, as you swallow each one, feel the positive energy spreading throughout your body, filling the void left by the released negative emotions. Eat at least one berry for each emotion you released, and feel free to eat more to fill yourself with positive energy.
Processing Time
Body processing time refers to the amount of time it takes for the energy from your emotional or energetic releases to complete their process and restore energetic balance.
Could have been sitting in the cells of your body for months, years, or even decades.
Time it takes to adjust varies from person to person, ranging from a few hours to several days and sometimes even longer
Muscle test in increments of one day to determine how long your body needs to process - the deeper the releases and the more you release, the more time your body will need to process the changes.
